top of electric stove stains won't come off any suggestions. you know like the stains on the back of old cooking pan.

Im assuming we're talking a flat stove top? I use soft scrub and a scrub pad or sometimes comet... but they do sell special cleaner for stove top also... I just find the soft scrub cheaper and just as effective... hope it helps

This will likely sound like an advertisement but I'm completely serious. I had the same problem with my gas stove.
