Is there a keyboard shortcut for switching between tabs in Firefox 2?
(I mean something like alt+tab used to switch between windows in Windows)
It's Ctrl + TAB to switch tabs in Firefox
The search for people who can answer your question continues for as long as needed - until you find the answer you were looking for.
When an answer is posted by someone who was invited (byYedda or by yourself) to answer your question, their answer is marked with a yellow "invited by Yedda".
To be invited to answer other people's questions in your areas of knowledge and interest, be sure to list your favorite topics:
» My Settings My Topics.
Of course, the more helpful your answers are, the more likely you are to be invited to future questions...
here you go:
click Ctrl+Page Up to move to the previous tab, or Ctrl + Page Down the the next. You can also try Ctrl + # (a number, on the upper numbers line) to a select a specific tab.
I also recommend using "Tab Catalog" add on - really makes life easier.
helinus' answer is correct, I don't understand why someone gave this answer a thumb down. What I like about ctrl-tab is that it works in other apps as well, for example if you have a few open documents in Word you can switch between them with ctrl-tab.
Raanan's answer is also good. I recommend the Tab Mix Plus extension, while we're at it.
The keyboard shortcut is "Ctrl + Tab" to switch between tabs.
ctrl + pgup or pgdn
