21 women will be allowed to testify against Kevin Coe, AKA The South Hill Rapist.
Do you think this is a good decision, or will these women be torn to shreds as witnesses because it wasn't proved Coe was the rapist?
That depends.
If you think he's guilty, it's probably a good thing because no there's a stronger case against him.
If the judge allowed this, I suppose the cross examining wouldn't be too harsh.
For a lot of people, and especially in rape cases, speaking out is an important part of recovery. I think especially with a therapist involved, the victim might feel so out of control that making an active effort to make sure that other women don't get hurt is an empowering experience.
I'm really in awe of those 21 women who chose to deal with their pain in an active positive way and make sure that this doesn't happened again.
Yes it's good in a way they testify so he can get what he has coming to him for what he done to these women ,it is just so terrible knowing that 21 women will never forget what happened but testifing might help alittle with them talking bout it . I live in the same area that he lived . good luck all with this n god bless
Life is like a Vapor, here then gone
You can swim all day in the sea of knowledge, and never get wet.
I thought they had dna that matched. If there are a lot of woman that say he is the man, it sure would behard for him to deny it. If they want him put away, they will have to live through the ordeal all over again. But that is the justice system.I sure hope these woman are getting some type of help to deal with this. If he did it, he needs to be put in prison. I am sure once he is locked away they may feel alittle relief. It will be hard for them.
