Kauai help

Almost 30 years ago I was in Kauai, and we went to a water slide that I think was used in South Pacific....it wasn't far from Kapaa...north a bit, off the hgwy. over a fence etc.  I tried to find it again a few years ago. No Luck.  Does anyone out there know if it still there?  And how can I find it.

The water slide used in South Pacific was located somewhere in Kilauea. I understand there were some difficulties associated with the resort it was associated with and it was closed down.  There was another natural water slide outside of Kapaa that was closed down by the State of Hawaii due to injuries during flash floods. I remember it from one of my trips in the 1970's. It was featured in Sunset travel books on Hawaii. I might be able to dig it up and provide you with a map.
