I have not seen the movie and don't plan on seeing it. The movie as a whole got poor reviews so I'm not wasting money on it.
On to the more important question...I definitely think Katie's career has suffered since marrying Cruise. Whether the rumors are true or not, her drive to succeed and be a great actress has been overshadowed by all the rotten media about her converting to scientology and Cruise's expedition to convert everyone else to it. It's like she's lost her "women rule" motif. She's taken a back seat to the publicity, most likely as a result of being told to by Cruise.
