Would you believe while looking through my files for something else, I actually found it!!! The title is "Clinic Patients: Diagnosis by Parking," by John B. Pittenger, Ph.D. University of Arkansas at Little Rock. It is a page from the Journal of Polymorphous Perversity. I don't know the date or volume number. At the bottom of the page, he references Shofield, Jr., L.J. (1984), so it has to be later than that. I worked at the hospital from '85 - '98, but don't remember when it was given to me. It is a series of diagrams reported to be observations of the parking behavior of patients arriving at the clinic. If I had a scanner, I'd show it to you. Obviously, it is all tongue in cheek. The one for a paranoid schizophrenic say "arrives in tank, kills tree thinking it is a CIA agent." The depressed patient idles in the entrance to the parking lot with the caption, "unable to make self park." The multiple personality "arrives in more than one car."
