why do jews wish one another Shabath Shalom ( a sabbath of peace)?
It's like saying, have a peaceful, happy, fun, restful, meaningful, spiritual Shabbat.... and I just wanted to say to those who apply, Shabbat Shalom. It will be Shabbat in a few hours.
Love is the battery of life....
Hi,
Do you mean why do they wish each other Shabbat Shalom? If so, it is a way of saying, have a peaceful, restful, meaningful Shabbat. Shabbat is supposed to be a reflective time of the week, different from the other days of the week. Some people don't drive or use electricity on Shabbat (Friday at sundown to Saturday at sundown)... and other people do other things to make the Shabbat experience special for them.
