The Christian Old Testament contains exactly the same material as the Tanakh, the Jewish Scriptures, only the order is different. The Jews combine 1 and 2 Samuel. I don't know about other books. Both groups accept these texts as inspired and sacred.
Christians who make a distinction between Scripture with Jesus as the dividing line, are standing on shifting sands. Jesus Himself embraced the Tanakh (Torah, Nevi'im, and Ketuvim). It is what He studied growing up. He used it thru out His ministry. Here is a quote from Jesus, "Do not think that I came to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I did not come to abolish but to fulfill." - Mat 5:17. (NASB) And a paraphrase of the same: Don't suppose that I came to do away with the Law and the Prophets. [Oron- if you drop in here, please let me know it my understanding is correct about this. The phrase Law and the Prophets is shorthand for the entire Tanakh.] I did not come to do away with them, but to give them their full meaning. (CEV) This was the job of the prophets, to identify sin and to call people back to YHWH. In reading thru the New Testament, there are a remarkable number of quotes from the Tanakh.
How much of Scripture is believed? I will not attempt an answer for the Jews. I will say that as you move father into the liberal theologians camp, the less belief there is in the Bible (66 books).
