Jacuzzi after the Gym

On my out from the Gym, after a weight training session, I pass nearby the Jacuzzi. It seems very tempting but is it good for my tired muscles?

Jump in and relax, that is why they have them at the gym. Enjoy!

Good luck and best wishes.

Steam rooms, saunas and hot Jacuzzi baths can be dangerous for older people, especially after exercise. Blood is concentrated and pooled in the skin and muscles after exercise, and going into a hot room or bath can cause fainting. Jacuzzi is good for relieving soreness after a workout, help in alleviating sprains and fatigue.

Never stay in a jacuzzi longer than 10mins!! my boyfriend fainted horribly after we got out, hit his head and cut the bone under his eyebrow, had a siezure as a result of the fall...and was  pulling in and out of consciousness. It was very scary. Never enter a jacuzzi on an empty stomach either because your sugar levels drop and you become more likely to have the same experience. I would like to ask though if he would need an xray in case? we went to the doctors and he got his skin glued together but they never gave him a referral to get a brain scan...please help as i'm a worried girlfriend.
