From the Websters Dictionary: n., pl. -naz·im (-n?z'?m, -nä'z?m).
A member of the branch of European Jews, historically Yiddish-speaking, who settled in central and northern Europe from Poland, Russia and Khazaria. Any of the historically Yiddish-speaking European Jews who settled in central and northern Europe, or their descendants. They lived originally in the Rhineland valley, and their name is derived from the Hebrew word Ashkenaz ("Germany"). After the start of the Crusades in the late 11th century, many migrated east to Poland, Lithuania, and Russia to escape persecution. In later centuries Jews who adopted the German-rite synagogue ritual were called Ashkenazim to differentiate them from the Sephardic, or Spanish-rite, Jews (see Sephardi), from whom they differ in cultural traditions, pronunciation of Hebrew, and synagogue chanting as well as in the use of the Yiddish language (until the 20th century). Today they constitute more than 80% of the world's Jews.
Actually- being an Israelite IS a race of people. Just like if you are MEXICAN- you are a race of people. Meaning the same BLOODLINE. The "JEWS" of today are not of the Shemitic bloodline, therefore they are not Israelites. They are JEWS and Israelis- which is not a race but rather a RELIGION that a race of Khazars from the line of Japheth created in Germany, Poland, etc. This is why you can "convert" to "become" a Jew. One cannot "convert" to become black or Hawaiian. You either are or you are not. You are either from the tribe of Judah, or you are not. The tribe of Judah comes from Shem. The Ashkenazi Jews claim bloodline to Japheth.
Ashkenaz is the medieval Hebrew name for the region which in modern times encompasses the country of Germany and German-speaking borderland areas. Ashkenaz is also a Japhetic patriarch in the Table of Nations (Genesis 10).
To underscore this, they did not speak Hebrew, but rather created a NEW language (Yiddish) and a NEW name (Jews not Israelite or Hebrew) and a NEW book (The Talmud).
With them, they took and diversified Yiddish, a Germanic language that had since medieval times been the lingua franca among Ashkenazi Jews.
Please dont say I am being bigoted. This is just plain fact. Research the word Ashkenazi- and you will plainly see. Being and Israelite from the tribe of Judah (where the created the term Jew from) means that you are of the bloodline of Shem and Judah. If you are not, then you are not Judaic. Much love to all.
