Hi Rick,
I don't know what specific jam you reffer to but normally you take the fruit (cut to pieces, if needed) add sugar (between 750 g"r to 1 k"g) on each k"g of fruits boil it and then keep heating it on a small falme / heat untill it gets a bit viscouse.  You can add (as per your taste): Lemon, Vanilla, rum, etc.
