My J1 visa expires on July, 31, my American driving license expires at the same (I don't have a driving license from my country, France ). I would like to travel in August during my grace period. What is the best way to extend the period of validity of my driving license ? ( no way to extend it without any valid papers it seems) ... B2 tourist visa (?), claiming my case at the immigration service somewhere... ? Thanks a lot, T.
