Is "Izzie" a good person on Grey's Anatomy?

I think that Izzy is hard to like. She often seems to be self absorbed and not think enough about how her quick decisions might affect others. At the same time, I think the character has had a difficult life and has to always put herself first in order to overcome many hardships. She seems to live in fear of making herself vulnerable to anything and/or anyone and must get her way no matter who has to pay the consequences. I personally do not relate well to her character but its hard to say how I would act in her situation.

I like everyone better than Meredith lol...but I disagree with Izzie's actions and storyline alot lately.Also,poor writing is obvious when it comes to her lines and she's just not being Izzie.I sympathize with Callie and that's something I thought I'd never do.I can't wait until Izzie and George's relationship implodes because it's dragging the whole show down.
