Iwas friends with a girl who I latter fell in love with and dated for 2 or 3 years. She and i were close, we worked together and went on vacations together, we were in love. But she did not think that we were meant to be together and we broke up. I admit that I did not do well with the breakup and made about every mistake in the book. We tried to stay friends for a while afterward. Phone calls and sometimes dinner or something, but there was a tension between us that wan't there before. I think we both sill care a little more than we wanted to admit. We drifted apart after a couple of years and I moved farther away.
Now we are both married and its 20 years later. I would like to hear from my old friend again and maybe our famlies could be friends. I would love to meet her husband and have her meet my wife. I am not looking to rekinkle an old flame, just a friendship. I loved her once more than anything and still have a lot of great memories of our time together. I found an old address, about ten years old, and sent hera letter, but i haven't gotten a reply. Should I call, or e-mail her or just let it be?
Do you think we could still be friends? Maybe a letter or two a year and a birthday care or christmas card?
Thanks
