Itunes transfer

i bought a new computer  (HP that came preloaded with ipod) and want to transfer my itunes library and playlists from my ipod to my new computer. i can't seem to do this withoout wiping out everythinng i have stored in my ipod. how do i do this

There are ways to do this.  You can't use iTunes or any Apple software to do so, but it can be done.

 Check out yamiPod for Windows here, it will allow you to do exactly what you are looking to do.
