Not likely! To be plain Israel depends on the goodwill and complicity of many nations and groups of people who would be forced into making choices they would not want to make by such a responce. Tactically it might amount to suicide because it would show Israel to be far more dangerous than it's neighbors and then the US and others might interrupt the aid that allows Israel to exist.
In reality, Israel needs to be seen as the injured party!
