A:

I don't know where to start!?!

You said:  "But one thing i have found out about all religons; they are great rules and they are all true if you want them to be."

I assume you meant, "they have great rules". They do, but they also have some terrible rules, like the Hindu rule that says a man can have his living wife buried or burned with his dead body if he chooses before his death.

You said:  (refering to religions) "they are all true if you want them to be."

While "All religions are false." could be a true statement, the statement, "All religions are true." could never be true. Religions are mutually exclusive. They cancel each other out with statements like, "We are the only true religion!" And they all say it. Only one could truly be right.

You said:  "The things we find appauling to someone else is normal. Our ideas of what is right and wrong has changed and it will change again."

One of the great things about God is His immutability. Our ideas and views change, but God never changes. He is the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow! If we align ourselves with Him we will be better off. I can't say we won't change, because we will. We have soooooooooo much room for improvement. Which takes me to your next statement.

You said:  "Christians have done sooooooooooo many atrocities it's boggles the mind..."

First of all, a more accurate statement would be that "People have done soooooooooo many atrocities..." It is a fact that more killing occured in the last century(100 years) than from all the wars and agressions put together from the beginning of recorded history until the end of the 19th century!!!    Sempa | The Bloodiest Century  Check it out. None of it blamed on Christians, and yet I always hear "Christians have done sooooooooooo many atrocities.." I'm sick of it!

You said:  "...and if it were ok to do them still in public they would without hesitation."

Ridiculous! As if public disapproval were the only thing holding Christians back from all sorts of evil.

This is the most disturbing yet!

You said:   " I went into a incest room by mistake and stayed for a bit out of curiosity and men there are having sex with their very young  daughters (even as young as 9) because they live in "the land of the free" to do what ever age they want and they are great christians (at least on Sunday)"

Okay...What is an "incest room", and where is it so I can report it to the police? (I'm going out on a limb and guess maybe southern Utah or Arizona?) Which part of your brain forgot to remind you that incest is still illegal in all 50 states, and that instead of "stay(ing) for a bit out of curiosity", maybe you should run, not walk and call 911?

Sister, you're either really messed up by your own life experiences that have skewed your judgement, or just a big idiot for: a)witnessing and not reporting a crime; b)participating in a crime voyeuristicly;  c)not having enough compassion or outrage to do something on the spot! and d)being so bugged that those men(as you say)were christians(I seriously doubt it) that you forgot to be outraged that it was happening by any group of men!

Next time read your own comments before posting them. Instead of attacking Christians (who have done more good for the world than any other group, when they weren't commiting all those atrocities) you might look for ways to, at least, not show your ignorance, and at best, not incriminate yourself.

I've had enough of this topic!
