Invisible counter

Hi - I'm just building my 2 first websites, the hosting company I'm using can't give me a visit report for each of them - only for all the sites together, so I thought about putting in a counter, but I really hate how that looks and also, don't want that info to be shown to viewers of the site.

I was wondering if there's a script or something that I can use that would count the people visiting my site, but not show it on the site.

Any idea?!

Yep! Free invisible webcounters are avail for that. Even with only HTM codes.

Suggest U to go with Htm codes, co'z U can't count the visitors, who has script disabled browsers if U use scripts for count traffic.

Checkout the links For Htm codes,

thanks for the quick answer!

senthil - I used logdy, cause their graphic interface is the nicer, it took me 3 minute to set the whole thing up and now I got a counter.

Yedda is cool!

I agree the best solution is to have a strong company handle the analysis of your sites. http://www.pataskalawebhosting.com is a strong organization that we have used before. If you send an email to their media department: media@pataskalawebhosting.com they can provide a free Website Report Card, that analyzes your site to web 2.0 standards, checks current SEO rankings and provides feedback on how to increase the SEO of your site. In addition their reporting tool also provides feedback on how the site's SMM (Social Media Marketing) is going as well, and provides solutions on how to improve. I personally also like Google's analytics, but have found great help with the company I mentioned before.

Hope this helps. BTW why are you with a host that does not provide excellent color reporting, graphing, and Google Analytics? We offer those features plus Fantastico Deluxe, on all our accounts even the $2 per month ones. Please go to http://www.cwtenterprises.com/hosting.html for a decent web host. That is such a a sad thing to hear about your hosts.
