Invasion of Iraq

What is the truthful lie Bush stated to America for his reason to invade Iraq.  Do you consider this a national interest or righteousness of cause.  How can you justify?  I believe since 911 just happened, we were all receptive to war and tied this in to the 911 attack.  Was it justified.  I don't believe so.

Even light will bend to do our bidding if we apply force correctly.

The lowest servant in Heaven is still in Heaven, whoever rules in hell is still in hell, but they won't rule for long.

The invasion of Iraq was fully justified, morally, ethically, and legally.  However, certain Muslim extremists have brainwashed a certain very small segment of our society to oppose the re-structuring of Iraq so that they can continue with their ridiculous Jihad against America.

Siding with that ridiculous Jihad is the surest possible guarantee that we will suffer even more violence that 9-11.

If we do not subdue these lunatics now, we will only make sure that we must re-do all the good we have done to date, and then, re-do it later at far greater cost in terms of life, limb, national prestige, and money.

In short, pacifists cause war.  It is about all that they have ever done well.

"Those who would give up essential liberty to purchase a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety."

Benjamin Franklin

The invasion of Iraq was  not related to 9/11. Bush and his neocon team started planning for it before getting into the White House but the terrorist attack gave them a smokescreen to hide their intentions behind.  Bush felt his father made a mistake in not removing Saddam Hussein and said even before he was elected that if he had the chance, he would use the military to emerge from his father's shadow.

The majority of  Muslims condemned Bin Laden for the 9/11 attacks and that group was being tracked down and destroyed until we took our eye off Al Quaeda, the Taliban and Afghanistan, and turned to Iraq. We have created a whole new generation of Jihadists.

It's a waste, political gossip and conspiracy theories.  Shameful that people buy it, drama queens the worst indulgent in this.  Watch out, drama queens use and abuse you, don't get too friendly they turn like rabid dogs.

The lie was that weapons of mass destruction and that Iraq fed al'Quiada.  I didn't believe it then, and certainly know the geographical difference of Iraq and Pakastan or for that matter Afhganistan.  It was never justified only rathionalized.  Then if anyone critizied they 'weren't good Americans.

Wisdom begins in wonder

the reasons for invading Iraq were several. Beneficially and most obvious reason is nature resources such as oil. Other beneficial are many in this agenda. Other way to look at it is looking at two similar individuals, (Hussein and Bush) thing was just personal with Hussein´s deals with his father and former president. And Hussein fighting a brutal war with Iran on USA budget for some years, has always crossed some controversy´s. Future life will not include use of force to get what is needed.
