I'm the type of girl who will burst out laughing in dead silence because of something that happened yesterday.
I think I may be addicted to the internet. I check my email at least twice a day. Is this normal? How often do you check your email or go online?
Computers are the wave of the future.
I actually check my email about every hour when I'm at home. I live by it. It's the best way to stay connected to the world.
The search for people who can answer your question continues for as long as needed - until you find the answer you were looking for.
When an answer is posted by someone who was invited (byYedda or by yourself) to answer your question, their answer is marked with a yellow "invited by Yedda".

Of course, the more helpful your answers are, the more likely you are to be invited to future questions...
That does not sound like you are addicted to the internet, some people are checking it every 15 minutes.
I have gmail notifier on so that it pops me up a message when they come.
I check mine a lot then twice a day, I use the Internet all the time, a lot of my friendships are Internet based and most of my work is done online.
As all addictions, the symptoms doesn't necessarily has to do with the amount of time spend online but whether this is getting in your way of achieving other things and taking a tole on your everyday life. Also, if your need to spend time online get bigger and bigger all the time and if you have any side effects when you are not online.
On a whole, I think that if you check your mail twice a day, you probably on the very low side of the curve as far as internet use not to mention addiction.
Hi Beth, Twice a day is normal. However, if it’s becoming compulsive then there might be some problem. Refer to this site if you need assistance: http://www.recoveryconnection.org/?utm_source=yedda&utm_medium=pv&utm_campaign=homepage . Cheers!
Thanks for the link!
Dear BethH,
I know the feeling, I'm on the web three or four times a day and at least one to two hours each session, and I know I.m addicted. The highlight of my day is to chat with a young lady lovely, as yourself and to read mail answer questions etc..
If you are on line, over an hour each session, you are addicted.
Hope this helps
