For laptop computers, Is there a portable device plugs into USB port that will give laptop a WI-Fi Signial ? secured /or unsecured? once the unit is pluged into the laptop USB and you turn on the computers Wi-Fi side switch on located rightside laptop? so can get better lock on unsecured wi fi signal anyhere local travel and have acess to internet? What does this wi-fi stick with usb end cost and once purchased is there any monthy fees for this device helps get strong reliable unsecured signal wi-fi signal.
I need one to use for my laptop which already has built in Wi fi softwere an when turn on wi if it can locate all signals in area , locked and unsecured, I can somtimes even use one but the signal is low an drops from time to time. use What I need is somthing no costly to pull in that wi fi signal better.
I have heard there is such a device , and also a memory type shape card that does same sevrice, my laptop has slot for this card also. What I need is information where to find these items and there cost . Thanks
