As the pilot of a small aircraft, myself and my passenger survived a serious airplane crash and are now recovering from the accident. My insurance policy states $100,000 each person with a $1,000,000 limit each accident. Then it states on a seperate paper " we pay for bodily injury to one person in one accident " My insurance company gave my passenger $100,000 and told me that as per my policy, I do not qualify for any Payment. I asked the insurance representative a question, I said " I have been paying my premiums for 7 years and according to you and your company, I have been piloting/flying my airplanes with no personal insurance coverage. His answer was yes, that is correct. I am just stunned in disbelief. I feel that this is a very deceiving and sneaky practice, and extremely unfair. Thanks in advance. Art
What is the name of the insurance company. I'll make sure I check before I use it. Call or write(email) to AOPA, maybe they can help.
