If a semi truck is involved in a wreck with a car and the car pulls out in front of the semi. There is a wittness that seen the car pull out in front of me. I have no tickets or accidents have been driving for thirty two years perfect driving record. Does my insurance company Have the right to cancell my insurance policy saying there has been a substatual change in risk-driver no longer meets underwriting criteria filings to be candelled. also this just happened a week ago and has not went to trial and is not even close to trial. Thanks Cliff. also no major injury.
Hi Cliff, First of all I'm glad no major injuries occur. As far as your question concerns, the answer is not decisive. It very much depends on your insurance company and, of course, on the trial call. A more reasonable option is for your policy to become heavier, as for a driver who was involved in an accident. In this case, assuming you will win the trial, use it to prove you are not a dangerous driver, just as you were before. Sometimes no matter how fine one drives an accident is inevitable. Good luck, And drive safe.
