Instant Coffee or Espresso Healthier?

Are some types of coffee more healthy than others? For example, is instant coffee with milk more or less healthy than espresso with milk?

Instant coffee is the least healthy coffee you can have, seriously.

The reason for it is that in the chemical process of drying and preparing the coffee to be instant the coffee loses all of it's good qualities, like anti oxidants and coffee acids that in moderation are actually good for lowering cholesterol levels.

Also, in some instant coffee, especially the type that comes in little nuggets instead of powder, there are added chemicals to prevent the coffee nuggets from sticking together because of the humidity.

Recent studies showed that drinking about 3-4 cups of coffee a day is not harmful for your health and actually have some benefits. more then that and you are risking high blood pressure, strain to the heart, chance of headaches and insomnia.

Over all, instant coffee is the worst, followed by American drip  coffee which tends to be left boiling for hours and looses the anti oxidants acids.

Espresso and Americano with milk is probably the best, when it's fresh. The milk help prevent the bad effect coffee have on the bones.

I don't like the taste of instant, so for me it's a no brainer.

I don't think there's a huge difference in terms of health benefits, except that instant has to be chemically prepared to actually dissolve in water, and some might find it problematic.

Both are not good for your health in excess. I would drink espresso personally because it is not processed and treated like instant coffee. I would use soy milk if you could, as the benefits are higher than regular milk.

Coffee is never healthy. It can lower your immunity system, it inhibits the absorption of iron and other minerals in your body, it can put your body in 'stress mode'...

Its beneficial benefits like antioxidants are dwarfed by the many bad effects it has on your body.

Brewed or one cup pods to me are the best for you.  Instant is more processed, therefore I would stay away from it.  Coffee in moderation, 1-2 cups preferably in the morning has benefits....and it's a non prescription anti depressant if you drink it in the caffienated variety....Try drinking it in the morning, drinking coffee after 1-2 in the afternoon can interfere with your sleep.

Both are good but for me espresso is much healthier coffee than instant coffee.  Espresso has more natural ingredients than instant coffee.
