Does Insomnia Cause Wrinkles?

Can insomnia cause wrinkles?

Does a person who sleeps less than 5 hours a night more prone to having crow's feet than a person who sleeps an average of 7-8 hours?

Can the damage (if there is a damage) be repaired?

Basically sleep is a must. They don't call it beauty sleep for nothing, you know. People who are well rested and who have enjoyed a good night's sleep, will always look better than people who did not.

Once you have wrinkles, I think only plastic surgery can erase them for you.

I agree sleep makes a great difference to how old you look & feel.

I bought a new mattress, pillows & blankets designed to help promote better sleep & now 10 years on all of my friends greet me saying how young & well I look.

My advice 'if you can't sleep buy a mattress like mine & go back to woolen blankets' it's more cozy & comfortable.  Do this BEFORE trying other options.

I do not believe that insomnia causes wrinkles! I am 58 and have no wrinkles, and only sleep 4-5 hours a night.

I have never used soap (only face cleanser) on my face, and have not ever drank alcohol; or taken (non leagle) drugs.

I believe a clean life and proper cleaning and moisturizing prevents wrinkles. Sleep time is not a factor.
