Information on istanbul airport

Hello im just new to this site so im not sure how it works. i found this site as i was looking at some information on istanbul airport. I have just turned 18 not so long ago and finally im traveling alone for my first time endof november. Im going to istanbul airport and i have read reviews on it people have their good reviews/ bad reviews. Im a real worrior and im so dreading istanbul ataurk airport has any 1 been recently? can any 1 tell me what its like? has any 1 been through to domestics? (as thats what i will be doing) do they speak good english? are the signs in english (silly question) thank you. x
