Inflamed pericardium associated with valley fever in dogs.
inflamed pericardium associated with valley fever in dogs. Has anyone experienced their dog going through an enlarged heart due to fluid in the pericardium. I have an 8 year old British Fox hound who was diagnosised a while back with Valley Fever, her titers just tested negative but we had returned to the vet due to excessive panting. X rays revealed an enlarged heart, in which the vet says is edema, gave me some diuretics and sent us home, night time she isnt sleeping and pants excessively, anyone have a suggestion, please?! I hate seeing her like this.
