Indiana Jones 4 is in production and will be released next year. It's been almost 20 years since the last movie in the series was released. Is this going to be some kind of record time between release dates of two movies in the same series?
There's a 19-years gap between "Superman IV" (1987) and "Superman Returns".

I'm not sure it can be considered "a series" in the same sense the Indiana Jones series can, but still.
