Work hard or go home.

Muscle is heavier than fat! Losing inches is a good thing!

If you still want to drop weight on the scale, you need to reevaluate your calorie intake. You can either increase your exercise, or take in less calories, or both.

Hi. I think you might be a bit confused. It is true that muscle weighs more than fat. You cannot judge your fitness by weight loss for this reason. You might gain a couple lbs at first while you are working out but after a little more time the lbs will start to melt off. I would not worry so much. Make sure that you are doing more cardio exercise than lifting and stretching to tone your muscles and not build them up too much. If you bulk up you will see higher numbers on the scale. Good luck!

hi thanks, my cal intake is low, over time surely the inch loss will stop and weight will some off?? it has to at some point ?

Work hard or go home.

I think if your calorie intake is already low and you are doing cardio, and the weight is still not coming off, I'd suggest meeting with a personal trainer and having him/her set you up with a more personal program.

hi,i am already on a program given by the fitness instructors
