A mother froze her eggs so that her 7 years old daughter (who suffers a genetic condition) could use them at a later stage if she wants to.
Does that make any sense? Isn't that an a-sexual for of incest? Would anyone consider impregnating a daughter with her father's sperm?

I think this girl would be better off using a different egg donor in the future... It is not uncommon for women to use eggs donated by one of their sisters. However, in that case, they are raising their niece or nephew and not their half-sibling...
Interesting question.

I don't think it's insect, it's not like impregnating a girl with her father's sperm because actually the girl (if she chooses to use the eggs) will not have any genetic influence of her future child's life. She will only carry the pregnancy. if it was the father's sperm with the daughter egg - it would be a form of genetic insect (with all the danger of genetic deformities causes by inbreeding) but since the mother and daughter's genetic material will not have any connection during pregnancy - there is no such danger.
I don't think that they girl with give birth to her sister - she will give birth to a daughter that was born as a result of an egg donor. As rachinbar said - it's no uncommon for sister to donate eggs to their daughter. the reason this hasn't been as common with mother is that usually by the time most women discover they can't have a baby, the mother is already too old to donate eggs and also that freezing eggs for an extended amount of time had been impossible so far.
I think that if this would have been a different kind of organ donation (like bone marrow or a kidney or blood) this wouldn't be an issue. What is see is a lot of newspaper and website trying to make a medical scientific achievement appear more interesting then it really is.
Love your life.
The story doesn't say that the egg has been fertilized by the father's sperm. So if a different sperm is used, I don't think it's incest.
Although, I'd have to ask what kind of medical condition the daughter has that she is unable to produce her own eggs. It's more than likely that if she cannot produce her own eggs, she will not be able to carry a baby to term.
Why would you think that a woman who cannot produce her own eggs cannot carry a baby to term? As long as her uterus is intact, the rest of the hormones necessary to sustain a pregnancy can be given artificially - usually, this would be progesterone, until such time as the placenta produces a sufficient amount to sustain the pregnancy.
The same is done when using egg donation under any other circumstances.
