Two days in a row my in-box and old mail file were totally deleted. What would cause this?
If you're retrieiving your mail via a POP3 client (e.g. Outlook, Thunderbird, mail.app, a smart phone) it will delete all your mail after downloading it unless you specifically tell it not to in its configuration.
