Impounded cars for sale?

Impounded cars for sale - do people really find bargains?

Have you ever bought an impounded or repo car, were there any problems with it? Did you manage to get a cheap price compared to the real value?

What have your experiences been with seized, repo or impounded cars for sale?

Thanks.

Searching for impounded cars for sale can be a gamble, however if you are well prepared there are many cheap deals available.
They can be abandonded vehicles, repossessed cars or even seized vehicles.

I suggest that you first get a full list of vehicles available for auction (I'll show you a link), and do a valuation of the vehicles that you think you might be interested in. Set a maximum bid for yourself,  that you don't want to exceed for the vehicle.

Remember : The impounded vehicles that you wish to bid on must have titles (or at the least  - be able to be titled) or you won't get insurance.

If you haven't been before then visit a few auctions beforehand so that you can a better understanding of the process - car auctions can be quite intimidating the first time.

After you have visited a couple of auctions take note of the regulars - those in  shirt and tie are probably car dealers.

Watch which cars they bid on, they know the market and condition of the vehicles (they will probably be friendly with the auction staff and will get more info than the general public).

Car dealers will want to make a fat profit on the car so they won't want to bid as high as you - this big profit that the dealers would lump on could be your massive savings ....
(This is the safest method I have discovered for getting cheap impounded cars for sale - you can go it on your own if you have good advice and feel sure.)

The best way to gather info about upcoming repossessed car auctions are with  Gov car auctions , they are professional and have one of the largest, up to date and most reliable data bases of Government & Police auctions for pre-owned, repossessed, impounded and seized cars, trucks and SUV's.

The alternative is to search through dozens of websites, magazines and newspapers, and / or phone various car repo houses and credit unions. This would take loads of time and money, and quite frankly, you wouldn't come up with the quantity and quality of complete information that a company who specializes in this can. If you want access to the best deals available then having the most complete information is essential.

I hope I helped you a little bit in your search for repossessed and impounded cars for sale.

Good luck, and if you're patient and do your homework there's no reason why you too shouldn't be able to find an absolute bargain!

Why do impounded Innocent cars for sale Innocent attract plenty of people?...... This is because it is mandated by rule to do so plus this  taking up space in the impound lot. You will find that when you get to your first police impound auto auctions there will be a lot of competition for most of the vehicles that are there.

Why would you settle for repo cars when there are really  good used car deals in town? I got my ford escape by browsing through google in the hopes of finding great deals for Ford autos. Thankfully, I came across www.513ford.com. They have great people who give great bargains. WHy don't you try them out?

I just bought my second car through an online auction for impounded cars.

the first one, a jeep liberty 2007, we got at $2650. I sold it last month for $13,775!!! And I just bought a bmw 328xi wagon 4wd for $10,450, which is about $14000 below its market value...

I found the auction through a membership site I subscribed to. I had researched online and found that http://impoundedcarsforsale.org was the only site to actually review the government auction listing sites, because I really was confused about which site to subscribe to...I ended up going with GAAlert - you will find a review on the site mentioned above.

there is a lot of info on where to find the impounded car auctions and how to bid successfully...

good luck for your search Laughing

Are government seized cars reliable, or too good to be true?

I've heard about these gov't auctions of seized cars. I browsed the websites and I've seen brand new, $30,000 and up cars sold for $7g and less. Are these cars reliable?
