Trust no one and Respect is earned not given!!!!

I always say trust no one and respect is earned not given.  Thats not      saying not to have manners and be polite to others we should always do that. In todays world people have made it impossible to trust anyone and they throw respect around like its nothing. Back in the day you were tought what respect was and how to achieve it. Today we have people leading our country that have done nothing to gain our respect but they think we should trust them!

most important lesson learned by me was that a devastating illness had a huge benefit. Turns your world upside down and makes you see things differently, makes you appreciate what you do have and allows you to be much more than you are.

Using the lessons of Noahs ark, Michael Levine, founder and owner of Levine Communications, based in Los Angeles, offers a lighthearted approach to the serious business of taking stock, taking control, and transforming calamity into opportunity. A wonderful

life lessons audio book online.

I learned to never let anyone else think for you. Use your own mind - it was given to you for a reason =)

The importance of family. I always took family for granted and emphasized the need to acquire friends but after moving several times and having gone through some difficult times it was always loving family members who were there for support many friends just dropped off by the wayside. In bringing up children my wife and I made this an important tenet. Now that my children have grown and most are married with their own children, they have often thanked us for instilling the idea of family into their conciousnesses because they too have seen the importance and value of a loving and supportive family.
