Illusion caused by stress?

Recently I'm going through some relationship problems. I worked very hard to overcome all my negative thoughts with the help of a close friend. There are a few problems remain, such as drastic loss of appetite, occational depress, anxiety and such. I think those will go with time. Now for the past week I've noticed something more serious. I started seeing things. This morning at work, I need to use the elevator to get to 19th floor. I press the up button, and started waiting. An elevator stops, the light indicates it's going down. A man beside me walked in, and the door close. Around 3 seconds later, the door from the same elevator reopened, this time the light indicates it's going up and the man inside is GONE?!?!?! This happened around 3 times already in the past week. And I'm really freaked out by myself. I'm only 22 and what would this develop to when I reach 30? memory loss? Is this a problem or is it normal? Is it just because I'm too tired? Should I go see a psychologist regarding my problem? If yes, how much does a psychology consultation usually cost in United States? Hope it wont cost an arm or leg.

Hi,

Please see a Psychologist.  Look some listings of Psychologists in the Yellow Pages or the Internet and then you can call them and ask them how much they charge per hour.
