IVF- known v. unknown egg donors

What are your thoughts on the long term effects on children when using known v. unknown egg donors in IVF?

Faithfully, I think an unknown donor is better. This way it's a given that the biological donor is unknown, and it saves the trouble of explaining and consulting visittion rights etc.

This is just a personal opinion though...

It will create chaos once someone knows that their parents are not their real paternal ones.
