IRS back tax help

Can you tell me anything about the companies who promise to be able to cut your back IRS taxes in half?  We owe the IRS money in back taxes.  Are these companies legetimate?  Or would we be wasting money to hire them?  Can they realy do what they say?  Even stop leins and garnishments?

Susan, there are dozens of companies out there lined up to take your money to work on your tax problem.

Many of them promise the moon, but in this area, unfortunately, there are a GREAT many hustlers who make promises they simply cannot keep.

For example, one of the highest profile companies was sued by the Attorneys General of 18 different states for failing to deliver to consumers what was promised.

The fact is that you don’t have to spend thousands of dollars to get your problem solved.

What you need is an experienced person to guide you through the process.

Our friend Dan Pilla literally "wrote the book" on tax debt forgiveness.

Dan’s book, "How to Get Tax Amnesty," has the leading book in the nation on the topic since 1992 and we recommend it highly. It gives you everything you need to know to get the job done yourself without spending a pile of money that you may not have!

You can order Dan’s book by going to www.taxhelponline.com.  It will be a LOT cheaper and much more useful to getting your situation resolved.

You would be wasting your money.  All they will do is contact the IRS to see if an agreement can be made to dissolve some of the tax liability you have.  You can do this yourself by contacting IRS and arranging a payment schedule, and save the money from the other party.

These companies are out to get your money. The only one to help you with the IRS is the IRS. Contact them and explain your situation and they will help you. My nephew owed them a lot of money and they worked with him to make monthly payments that he could live with. They don't want to you to go to jail, they will work out a plan. Good luck.
