Where can I find a plastic shower rod cover ? One that is 60", and snaps in place would be terriffic. I've bought them before, years ago, but now they seem to have disappeared.
Just a old Country Boy, would give you the shirt off my back, just don't try to take without asking first.....
Katie,
I've answered this question twice and for some unknown reason my postings have gone unseen so 1 more time. I have found plastic covers at Lowes and HD but they are typically associated with a new rod so I recently did something that now I'm so happy I did and that was to buy a curved rod that sticks out about 8" - 1' further than a standard rod this rod is high polished chrome with guarantees, the rod has to be mounted to the wall or tile (in my case) you can hang as many curtains as you would like. It really dresses up a older style tub. Good Luck

Hi Katie,
I'm also looking for a shower rod cover to replace a 25 year-old that cracked. I can't find any at retail except Ace Hardware/Zenith Metal which does not seem quite right. I did run across the Space Age Plastics site < http://www.spaceageplastics.com/shower_rod_form.php?catid=14 > which looks like the right item but requires a minimum order of 6 (at $2.50 each). Interestingly enough, this seems to be a recurring question. I found it on Google answers < http://answers.google.com/answers/threadview?id=295747 > from 1/12/2004 and some place in 1992 (which I can't find now) and on WikiAnswers < http://wiki.answers.com/Q/Are_vinyl_shower_rod_covers_still_available > with 5/11/8 and 6/23/8 inadequate answers.
Oooh, I just found some: < http://www.usawallpaper.com/shcurod.html > "$6.25 ea, on sale for $5 in 22 colors"
Joe
Hi Joe,
I also found some at info@innroomsupplies.com
or Inn Room Supplies 1-800-642-4741
They are $9.55 per dozen, 60" long Min. order 12
Color - White Only
Thank you for your information. Kate
I have found them at Burlington Coat Factory in the past. Many colors to choose from and not expensive.
Thanks, TracyBeckyV. I'll look in my local (Nashua, NH) Burlington Coat Factory later today. ...
...
Unfortunately, Nashua and Manchester don't have them and don't remember ever having them. Maybe it's a regional thing. Wish I could find them in a store in New England.
