Hunting with a rifle in residential area for New Jersey

Does anyone know how far from a residential dwelling you can shoot a rifle for hunting?

I have 3 kids and my neighbor hunts on her property Bow and shotgun

in Michigan it's 150 yards (450 feet) from a house, closer with the owner's permission.  this is for all weapons used for hunting, but doesn't include target practice.

check your state's website for local rules
