Huckabee defeats McCain

Simply because McCain has won over more states than Huckabee. At this point in time it would be a true miracle if Huckabee gets the nod. It was a closer race between McCain and Romney with Huckabee a distant third.

At this point it looks like McCain will win the Washington caucuses.  (The final results aren't in yet.)  But still, Huckabee did win two out of three states.

It's going to be tough for Huckabee to catch McCain.  But if the conservatives unite behind him, I guess it's a longshot possibility.  As Huckabee said, "Folks, I didn't major in math, I majored in miracles ...."

Never say never, but It seems tremendously unlikely. The fact he won in these three states doesn't really change the situation in the Republican race. McCain will win and there is little anyone can do about it.

I don't know much about huckabee but i'm just glad mccain is going to beat that romney creep, and hopefuly go on to beat the democratic candidates.
