My cat always used her cat flap to go outside to go to the toilet. Recently she has defacated inside the house on the fireplace hearth and then hidden, knowing she has done wrong. We have chickens that roam free in our garden, and i think the recent increase in their numbers (approx 20) has discouraged her from leaving the house. She is about 10 years old, and is still very playful and affectionate. How can I get her back to her usual toilet spot without bringing a litter tray into the equation? Would shutting her out during the day cause more stress? (There are several outbuildings where she can shelter) Any suggestions? Becky H
