Horrible Incest in Amstetten Austria

In this horrible story of a 42 years old woman being imprisoned for 24 years by her father, there are 6 children involved. The youngest of them is 5, and they grew either with the mother in the basement, never seeing the light of day, or with the grandparents, the children of incest. Obviously they will need a lot of therapy. Will they get what they need?

Who's to take care of the children?

I'll search the Austrian news as soon as I have time, and try to locate answers.  (It's late now here, so I don't have the proper time for your important questions.)  Perhaps someone else will find answers before I do.

Meanwhile, let me say I hope Elizabeth F and her children get all the support they need.

Here's a document from the state hospitals, which reports what was happening as of April 26-27.  Essentially, it says that the grandmother, mother, and five children are doing well under the circumstances, receiving continuous care from a team of psychotherapists, and will be in the hospital for an undetermined length of time.  The sixth child, Kerstin F, is in an artificial deep sleep, in critical but stable condition.

Der leidgeprüften Familie F. geht es den Umständen entsprechend gut

The less that you give you're a taker

I suppose that depends on how individuals view their children, as property or as individuals in their own right who need giudance and guardianship. We have all known both kinds of parents. This vile scenario also shows us that there can be no good without evil, and that Christ died to give us all the ultimate gift from God - free will, and we must all atone to Him for violations against His gifts. That "father" will soon be seated at the left hand of Satan. As for the children, they are victims of evil, just as many have been throughout the ages, and are forever changed from the "norm", whatever that is.

I can't understand how the mother claims she knew nothing?

How can you not know this is happening in your own house? Have you never thought to demand that your husband shows you what's in the basement? Have you never asked to speak to your daughter?

TLC is not a limited edition

I think the social child welfare should but these kids in care where time and patience would be taken to help them develop and grow in a society where they belong but hav never been part of..allthough they shudnt be split up..keeping them together is vital, on the road to recovery they need to be with people who understand what theyve been through, and who better than the siblings. No doubt they going to need alot of love..a childrens home would nt be a good ideat at all..theyve been in isolation..to socialise them to quick would be a disaster..they have to be eased into society.. I really hope the people in power and in charge would make wise decitions regarding these poor victims of an act so sick..i cant even put it into words
