Horny cat

It has little to do with being horny :-)

Cats tend to groom other members of the group, particularly in places where it is difficult to groom oneself, like the throat or behind the ears (even cats can't get their tongues there...).

Your cat is showing you he's a part of your family and that you're a part of his. You can reciprocate by scratching behind the ears or tickling wherever his favorite spot is.

I don't like it when they groom me, because their tongue is really coarse and it can be quite painful sometimes. 

It sounds like your cat was taken away from him mother when he was too young.  He sees you as his new momma, and he is trying to be affectionate and coo and nuzzle like a baby cat would.  That is so cute!

It sounds as if your cat is looking to hand out some affection. That's their way of showing love and attachment. When a cat is driven by his sexual drive, the signs are different, so don't worry.

The cat likes you, simple as that. One of my cats does that under my chin (very annoying), another grabs tufts of my hair and really tugs on it hard.

   Your cat is showing affection to you as the  master.  It does not mean your cat is horny.

as others were saying its not that. my cats do this too. but to each other and they are both male. they groom each other in places where the other cant reach. :)
