Well, back in the old days, parents just didn't have the money to take their children to the doctor whenever they got a bad cold or the Flu.  They made us keep warm, stay under the covers, drink plenty of fluids, and even used a vaporizor at times.  Another old family remedy that is extremely helpful is believe it or not "Steaming Hot Lemonade"!!!  That's right. Steaming Hot Lemonade saturated with plenty of fresh pure lemon juice, with sugar added to taste, is one of the best remedies.  It tastes good, is soothing, and even helps you to sleep.  If you're over 18, try adding some "brandy" to the mix.  Of course then it becomes a "Hot Toddie", and you will sweat alot, and sleep alot, but when you wake up you will feel so much better!  Ain't nothin like those old home remedies.  And guess what else?  It really is true when they say "An apple a day keeps the Doctor away!"

I think you should take yourself and a blanket to a hospital emergency room and  go inside and find your self  as warm and comfortable a place as you can find and stay there until someone assists you. Tell someone your predicument and if they don't help  you. keep telling  someone until some decent American soul listens and helps you. Be soft spoken and polite and loveable and don't leave!! Good Luck!!!

No one can be refused health insurance, you can apply for Medicaid  and food stamps. I'm in DC here anyone without can get what they need as far as that is concerned. Where ever you live, you should be able to get the help that you need. you can go into a hospital they can not turn you away if you are really sick and need medical attention. The best thing for you to do is to check the resources there,  do your research and find the places that will help you with this issue. We live in the USA and everything we need is available, you just have to put your best foot forward and get the information that you need, it is not hard, just do it.

What about me???? I am Changing!!

If your symptoms are really bad, go to the nearest hospital and tell them you have no insurance. You should be able to talk to someone that can help you in getting some kind of help in paying the bill or even on a sliding scale fee. If however your symptoms are that of the flu and it's managable, drink plenty of fluid so you don't get dehydrated, stay in your house and rest.

If you do get the flu the best place to go, is stay home! There is nothing they can do for the flu, and the doctors and nurses don't want you in their emergency rooms or offices to infect other people. Stay home, take aspirin for the aches and fever, decongestants for the cough and runny nose, and drink plenty of fluids, that's all that CAN be done for the flu. Unless you develope a secondary infection,(pneumonia or bronchitis and need hospitalization) stay home.

Yes, there should be multiple free health clinics available in your area. Try your local health department. If you feel as though you need to see a  doctor immediately you should take a trip to the emergency room. They are unable to turn you away and must give you same treatment as they give to their insured patients.

There are many natural health remedies available for flu and cold symptoms to get you back on with your life. You should take a look at the different healthy alternatives available.

I think you can go to some clinic which is nearest to your place even if it is at another locality. I would suggest you to find out an alterrnate clinic and get its contact details for any emergency.
