Tonight is the start of Holocaust Remembrance Day... What do you think is the most important lesson to think about on this day? Are you doing anything special? Any kind of ceremony?
If you want it too let it come to you
Think about the 10 million people who lost their lives. Maybe light a candle (WHITE) in rememberance and a small prayer vigil.
Remember to "NEVER FORGET".
The chain of events that drew the world into that horrible nightmare should be recounted and studied to detect the most outstanding warning signs that surfaced during the struggle for political dominance in that place and time. I'm thinking that a major portion of the victims listened to a pack of lies but didn't listen close enough. Remember the lies and listen for them because storms of political unrest are wide spread and the unthinkable can happen again anywhere I'm not jewish but I am a history buff and an American who loves his country and I am listening to a powerful, wealthy leadership arrogantly lying to me and my fellow citizens on a daily basis about serious changes in policy thinking that we are content and believe them to have "We The People" in their best interest. What I hear is dangerous winds of change that can eventually take away my constitutional rights take huge hidden tax increases to bolster an elaborate massive millitary killing machine indicating much more than national defense. See, that kind of evil could happen right here. After all, it only took a decade for Hitler to sculpt his nightmare... There are very bad people out there and they can make you love them so be aware and teach your children how to listen for the lies... I worry what my grand children will, maybe, have to endure.
