It depends on who you ask and how much experience they've had. Movie acting is not considered "real" acting by Broadway actors and television acting is not considered "real" acting by movie actors. Good actors do it all, but most will tell you they enjoy a live audience the most. Anything live is more thrilling than film in my opinion, but I'm not into blood/guts/gore/car chases/terminators/giant lizards and the like. Good acting is good acting in any genre, the same as good writing.
