Holland drug policy

I have heard that many dutch citizens wish that drugs would be outlawed again , is this true ?

Yes and No

The non criminal status of soft drugs in the Netherland didn't cause a growth of drug users the voices calling for making drugs illegal there got to do with fear and ignorance, but maily since they don't like the fact that lots of people from mainly nearby countries (esp. Germany) come there on weekends to party and sometimes cause "problems", let call it release steem. the dutch people are very tolerant but it doesn't mean they enjoy or accept unmannered behaviour.

I haven't been able to find exact numbers, but fact is that many high ranking politicians in the largest party in the Netherlands, the Christian Democrats CDA, notably former Justice minister Piet Hein Donner, would like to outlaw all hard and soft drugs.
