1. you can spend 3-4 days in amsterdam, touring its markets, parks and not to mention other attractions...( Cool). amsterdam has several museums, including the van- gogh museum. if you are a football fan you see the amsterdam Arena (available tours if you don't want to spend money on going to a game). great shopping places too in amsterdam.

2. den haag has some worth seeing places, including the palace and the minature park of Madurodam.

3. you should defenetly go to the Eftling- an amusment park focused on fairytails creatures. not for kinds only.

If you're planning to spend time in Amsterdam, a very cool place to go, which will  give you some understanding of the various cultures around the globe that Holland has had interaction with during its colonial past, is the Tropenmuseum - has very innovative, atmospheric, walk-through installations which immerse you in the sounds and sights of these cultures, plus the museum cafe is a good place to get an idea of the various ethnic cuisines with with Amsterdam abounds.

the "De Pijp" area is also very nice, not so touristy, lots of funky bars, cafes, shops, etc - good lively street market, and a nice park there too.

the area round the Vondelpark is different again, very classy, elegant art Nouveau-y/late 19th cent buildings and the park again is wonderful. Also a bit off the main tourist drag.

I am surprised no one mentioned it but Holland is all about cycling. The best way to get around is with a bicycle. Especially in

Amsterdam.

In my day job I write about Blood Pressure Treatment and treat those who suffer from blood pressure problems. Low blood pressure is a particular interest and I'm often asked about how to lower cholesterol levels

I also have a special interest in the problem of feeling Tired All the Time and in those who suffer from chronic fatigue or lethargy.

My work with footballers and athletes leads to a focus on Painful Shoulder conditions and on the problems associated with frozen shoulder or whiplash injury

When not working I daydream about my next amazing european vacation trip  My favorite European cities include Paris and Barcelona and my next blog project will be to write about the best way to spend a night in Paris and how to find an apartment in Barcelona.

I love Holland for all sorts of reasons. Its small in size so you can travel and see lots of it without devoting too much time to travelling. Amsterdam is famous for all the right (and sometimes the wrong) reasons. I agree that The Hague (or Den Haag) is worth a visit and I would also head for some of the more rural areas near the northern coast where the locals are friendly and the scenery is unspoilt.
