Love is the battery of life....

Hi,
In 1933, shortly after Hitler took over he asked D"r Ferdinand Porcsche to make changes to his original 1931 design to make it more suited for the working man.  It was Hans Ledwinka who discussed his ideas with Ferdinand Porsche who used many Tatra design features in the 1938 Kdf-Wagen, later known as the VW Käfer - or "Beetle".  On 22nd June 1934 D"r Ferdinand Porsche agreed to design the "People's Car" for Hitler..... That's the beginning of Volkswagon (Volks = People's  Wagon = Car).
Best regards,

This profile was made using only pure recycled electrons

The first beetles prototypes were first manufactured between 1936 and 1938, production started at 1940 for the Nazi army.
