Hire a Life Coach

I'm curious as to why I should hire a life coach.  Have you hired a life coach and what was your experience?  Should I hire a life coach to help me reach my goals?

"What ifs" will break your heart.GO ON!! LIVE A LITTLE!!!

Well Tfred,I think that hiring someone to get you on track with your goals in life is a positive way to address  your needs.

I dont know if you are just starting out in life or if for some reason you are being pulled in a lot of directions as to which path to take in life.I think that if there are goals that you intend to achieve but need help "mapping" things out then GO FOR IT!!!

The fact that you are considering this option tells me you are very motivated to live life well. GOOD LUCK!!!! LOL...I dont much care for the term(Life Coach)...sounds like cheerleader. Goal planner...I like it!!

"Most people see things as they are, and ask, 'why'? But I think of things that never were, and ask, 'why not'?" -- George Bernard Shaw.

Actually, I've considered hiring a life-coach myself, though I haven't done so as yet.  I guess if you're really confused about where you want to go in life, a life-coach may indeed be the answer -- but I also feel that "self-help" and "self-improvement" books may be a lot cheaper!  One GREAT book I've discovered a small volume that's called "SECRETS OF THE MILLIONAIRE MIND", by T. HARVE EKER.  I call this little book, "a self-improvement book, cleverly disguised as a get-rich-quick book"....because that's what it is!  I know of one peron, personally, whose life has changed because of reading this book -- and another person, whose life was also changed by this book, that someone told me about. Self-help BOOKS -- from authors like Dale Carnegie, Brian Tracy, Dennis Waitley, etc., are VERY good to help one get one's life on track.  But if just reading doesn't help, then by all means go the "personal, one-to-one route", and get a life coach!

Yeah getting a lifecoach can be useful, but you can do a lot of the work yourself. Try sitting down for at least 30 minutes and write down frankly and honestly where you think you are with things (love life, family, work, career etc...) then think about where you want to be. Do not rose tint your current situation otherwise you will not grow as a person.

Once you have that you have your goals. Now write them out in smaller steps and start thinking about ways you can achieve them. Then, get out there and DO!

I work as a life coach and find that a lot of the time people just want YOU to live THEIR lives for them.
