I have a compact coin purse that has this written on the inside. can you tell me anything about this piece.

I'm no mason, and I'm sure one will read this post and correct me, but I believe it may be a token given to a mason upon his reaching a certain degree of mastery. I hope this will help in some way. Perhaps when a mason replies we will both learn something.
